Go Eagles!!
Another week has flown by; hard to believe it is the end of January!
The weekdays continue to be filled with school, work and multiple practices and activities. Zach was nominated for a national STEM school this summer; he was chosen for this because of his top grades and scores on standardized tests. This is an exciting opportunity as the featured speakers are NASA astronauts!

He has also received his drivers permit shortly after his birthday and made it into the All State Band as second chair trumpet!!
Logan and Casey enjoyed Game Night at Legacy with Peyton and Jesse
Logan had his first Upwards basketball game and proceeded to make all but 2 of the baskets for his team, which according to coach Jesse, was 10, scoring 20 points. He had a couple of left hand layups also :)
Peytons' team took second in their tournament, which was an 8th grade bracket; the game they lost was a tough one as two of our girls got in foul trouble
and another obtained a mild concussion.
Casey enjoyed time with Peytons teammates' siblings during the games....
While Logan got to hang out with his friend Blake which turned into a sleepover/playdate the next day :)
We have developed some weekend traditions which include trips to Target with a Starbucks run :) Favorite drinks are the "pink drink" and double chocolate chip frappuccino :) Peyton and Casey helped me pick out decor for the house.
The weekend concluded with watching the Vikings/Eagles game, and the Eagles are headed to the Super Bowl!!!
In other news, Aunt Tracy went to South Dakota to visit her old college roommate.
The weather changed midweek and we have enjoyed balmy temps in the 30s and 40s!! The forecast indicates this will continue into next week!
